US Open: NYC Limos, Dining and More

NYC limo guide to the US OpenIt's almost time for one of New York's biggest events all year, the annual US Open. August 27th-September 9th at the USTA Tennis center is among the biggest events for celebrities, royalty and the world's best athletes. Princess Kate of England is a dedicated, and could be spotted at nearly all of the matches at the London Olympics. Whether she'll be making a royal appearance in a NYC limo to cheer on Andy Murray remains to be seen. Here is our last-minute guide to viewing the US Open:

Get Your Tickets Now

If you're going to try and make an in-person appearance at the US Open, tickets are still available for more than half the events as of 08/25/2012. Head to the official website to buy online or call directly to inquire about availability. While ticket availability is very limited for most of the highly-anticipated matches, pricing for events ranges between $300-$475.

VIP Viewing Parties

There are a number of VIP viewing parties around town that will certainly attract a swarm of NYC limos. Heineken is sponsoring a 36-hour bash in honor of the US Open's main events, September 7th-9th. Tickets are still available to guests aged 21 and older. For a family-friendly viewing party, Madison Square Park Conservancy is hosting a big-screen viewing of major events sponsored by American Express.

NYC Limo Transportation

Whether you're making a trip to the big apple to take in a few days of the world's best tennis or a local planning to treat yourself to stylish viewing, luxury transportation via a NYC limo or chauffeured sedan is a must. For traveling between airport and hotel, stadium and restaurant, a NYC limo is essential for navigating traffic and parking in time for the first serve. Whether you opt for a full, stretch limo to comfortably transport a small group or a private sedan for a more intimate atmosphere, choosing a NYC limo for luxury transportation is essential to maintain your busy itinerary of viewing matches and making dinner reservations during the US Open.

Dining

One of the greatest thrills of the US open is catching sights of competitors and celebrities. Choosing to dine at restaurants favored by the stars can be your best bet for rubbing shoulders with Andy Murray, Serena Williams, Petra Kvitova and any number of A-list spectators. While taking NYC limos to some of the top restaurants around town will be a popular choice, dining reservations close to the court are in the highest demand. There are a number of exceptional dining options within just a few hundred yards of the stadium. Here are top choices for courtside dining:

Aces

This casual, modern sushi bar is undoubtedly the hottest restaurant at the USTA Tennis Center. The bright interior becomes a hub for elite athletes and VIP viewers after each major match. Reservations are required to dine at Aces, which serves lunch, dinner and an extensive menu of wine options. Exceptional dining during the US Open doesn't require a NYC limo to get across town, but just the ability to get courtside reservations for sushi and celebrity-spotting.

Champions Bar & Grill

For classic, upscale American dining, Champion's Bar and Grill is a top option at the USTA Tennis Center. Each of the matches can be viewed on flat-screen tvs within the restaurant. The menu is centered around traditional steakhouse-style dining, with a variety of premium steaks, salads, seafood and wine options available to order.

While it's possible to view the top US matches from nearly any sports bar in Manhattan, nothing can replace the glamour and excitement of watching matches courtside. From top-notch dining reservations to exceptional seating, use a NYC limo to transport you to the VIP experience that defines the US open.
