The Secret of Success


 

 

There are many factors that determine whether one will succeed or not succeed.  Luck, opportunity, ability and timing are several such factors, but aside from these there are many things that any one of us can do to increase our chances of experiencing true success.

 

-Have a positive attitude.  Think positively and like results will come from this.  Giving off a positive energy will infect those around you making them more productive and able.

 

-Take responsibility.  Don’t make excuses for your failures, face them, accept them and grow from them.  Those of us who hide from failure and doomed to face it again.

 

-Someone once told me little people talk about things, normal people talk about people and great people talk about ideas.  Be a great person, discuss what is relevant and most important, stay away from gossip and materialism and focus on what you can grow from.

 

-Don’t be afraid of change.  Change is good, without change there is no growth and without growth we experience stagnation, stagnation gives our competition a chance to surpass.   Do not fear change embrace it.

 

-Always keep an open mind, look to always be learning and growing.  Turn off the T.V and open a book, listen to others instead of just waiting for your turn to speak and keep an open mind especially when discussing change and new ideas.

 

-Live by the golden rule; treat others as you would like them to treat you.  Compliment people don’t criticize, forgive those that make mistakes, give credit where credit is due and exchange information freely instead of hording data.  Be grateful for those around you and treat them with dignity and respect.  Happiness, and the happiness of those around you, is vital for success and growth, maintain that positive energy.

 

-Set realistic long-term and short-term goals.  Keep a to-be list write down what you want in life and where you see yourself in five years.  People who have no vision have no destination.

 

These steps won’t guarantee you will be successful, but they will certainly help.  Treat people well, including yourself, set goals, keep an open mind and always stay positive.  Many things determine weather we will find success but these are things we can control, maximize your chances and live a better life!

All Star Limousine is the now the proud owner of a brand new 37 passenger luxury shuttle built by Gretch Motors.  At All Star we have a 12-18 month turnaround time, which means that every one of the 134 vehicles we have in the fleet gets replaced about every year.  The 37 Passenger is the first and only one of its kind, custom designed by the incredible team at Gretch motors.

 A More Productive Work Day


 

 

There are several things we can do throughout the day to optimize our mood and performance.  We will not only to be more productive, but happier as well.  A goal orientated work day is great, we all feel good about ourselves after completing a big project or closing that huge deal, but here are several tips you can try throughout the day, or add to your normal routine, to make the it the best it can be.

 

Get organized or create a to-do list.  This will help organize your thoughts and expedite the things you need to do throughout the day.  It can also help to plan ahead using an organizer or calendar to make appointments.  Make sure you include breaks on your to-do list as taking a step back from your day to relax is important.

 

Eat healthy and exercise.  Too often we underestimate the relationship your physical self has with your mental self.  Keep energized!  Try to avoid fat or sugar laden foods that will drain you, and keep vegetables or fruits as snacks to help keep you going through-out the day.  Try to get up and walk around the office for a few minutes everyday, sitting too long and too often is bad for your health.

 

Wake up early and give yourself plenty of time to sleep.  It’s never a good idea to be rushing around and stressed about being late especially first thing in the morning.  If we wake up and start having anxiety immediately we fill our systems with stress inducing juices that toxify our bodies for the entire day.  If you start your day stressed out the rest of your day will be no better.

 

 Try to clear your mind before getting out of bed in the morning and going to sleep at night.  Meditate and focus on your breathing, then concentrate on positive and motivational thoughts.  Remember life is about perception and it will be what you make it, focus on the good things and the results will astound you.

 

Throughout your day stay positive and happy, even if things are not going great.  This positive energy will influence and impact those around you and it will indirectly help to create a more motivated and upbeat work environment, thus increasing productivity.  Good morale is important in all businesses and organizations and can be absolutely vital in certain industries.

 

Try these simple steps and you are guaranteed to see improved results.  Many of these steps have to do with keeping a healthy physical and mental self, which when you think about it, is the best way to optimize your performance.  Stay positive, stay healthy and you will automatically increase your productivity without even trying.

Fast, reliable and easy are three words we at All Star Limousine hear constantly, others are seamless, flawless, convenient and impressive.  Yes we hear these terms in regards to our actual service but what we want to talk about today is our online reservation and confirmation process.  Our entire network, including our booking process, has been streamlined and built specifically for customer convenience.  You can book a transfer within 24 hours without even picking up the phone.  We also send automatic receipts and confirmations as soon as the ride is entered.  Finally we send text message alerts the moment a client is picked up or to indicate to the client that we have arrived and are waiting.

 

With our reserve now feature you can create a profile and book rides for the very next day, no phone call needed.  Of course if you need something a bit sooner then that please give us a call, we can usually arrange a pickup within about 15 minutes.  We also offer fully customizable invoicing and trip confirmations, this way you can see exactly what we see the moment you enter or request a pick up.  This feature, as well as a few others, was implemented in an effort to extend peace of mind to our clients and customers.
