Executive Chauffeured Services

Most of us can drive a car, and so when we think of a professional driver, or a chauffeur, we may think well anyone can do that.  This could not be further from the truth a real chauffeur does far more then just drive a vehicle.  A cab driver picks people up and drops them off, an executive chauffeur creates an experience.  The chauffeurs at All Star Limousine fall into two distinct categories, with only the very best able to transition between the two.  We have out executive chauffeurs, the men and women who transport our corporate cliental, and our celebratory chauffeurs the ladies and gentlemen that accommodate you and yours on your wedding day.

What really is the difference?  Well again these individuals are doing so much more then just picking you up and taking you to your destination.  On the Corporate side punctuality and an intimate knowledge of the areas you are serving are an absolute necessity.   Knowledge of the corporation and the account that you are servicing is also a must.  Then you have the details some VIPs want certain beverages or amenities in their vehicles.  Some VIPs like to talk to their drivers, some do not.  Some have preferred routes or vehicle types and it is all up to our executive chauffeurs to make sure that they are getting exactly what they want.

The chauffeurs who drive the vehicles in our celebratory fleet are some very special ladies and gentlemen.  After all they are at your side during some of the biggest moments of your life.  For weddings they will coordinate with all the other vendors present and create and maintain a schedule.  They will help stage the procession at the church, lay down the isle runner and act as ushers.  They will fluff the gown and help with the boutonnieres and pocket squares.  They will transport the flowers and any other arrangement from church to reception.  And all of that is just the start.  These drivers are trained to understand their passengers, to know if they need more or less, to know if they want to be engaged or not and to be able to facilitate and execute any and all levels of service.  They are the icing on the cake on your wedding day that extra and unexpected detail that turns a great experience into and unforgettable one.

There is a drastic difference between a driver and a professional chauffeur.  Most of us can drive a car but very few of us could operate on the level of a professional chauffer.  The attention to detail, the level of service and the professionalism of a real chauffeur is something really very special.  The vehicle will be beautiful, it will be on time, it will be what you expected, and the individuals behind the wheel will take your experience to the next level, orchestrating an event that will live on in your memories forever.

3 Reasons Not to Have A Winter Wedding

There are several really good reasons that there exists a season for Long Island weddings.  The cold weather during the wintertime months is usually a big deterrent for those soon to be wed.  This is why we see a big increase in weddings in the spring summer and fall.  Below we will identify the three biggest reasons not to get married during the winter.

1-    The snow.  This is the obvious one.  The only thing worse then rain on your wedding day is snow.  Forget taking pictures outside in most locations and make sure you hike those dresses up or they will get ruined.

2-    Travel.  Traveling for you, your bridal party, and your guests becomes very challenging.  Even if you avoid a snowstorm the roads can still be icy and when time is of the essence the last thing you want to deal with is inclement weather or less then ideal travel conditions.  For you’re out of town guests storms can cause serious problems if flights get delayed re-routed or all together cancelled, it is next to impossible to re-schedule your wedding.

3-    Your vendors.   Most wedding vendors on long island are used to operating in warm weather.  During the colder months their services may not be what they should be.   Transportation companies, photography, hair stylists, flowers and more are all affected by the colder weather.  Make sure what ever company you contract for your wintertime wedding is prepared to handle the snow and ice.

There is a reason that wedding season on Long Island is traditionally during the warmer months.  The cold season presents certain challenges to the would-be-wed that the springtime bride just doesn’t have to contend with.  Previously we illustrated some pretty good reason why a wintertime wedding makes sense, above we have three reasons to the contrary, now its up to you!
